About Maggie

Hiya, I'm Maggie Glennon. I'm a former teacher, perpetually recovering catholic school kid, late identified neurodivergent, late bloomer queer and an adult orphan. What does this mean? I’ve lived through grief that rearranged my life and joy that’s made me want to puke. It also means I've spent much of my life trying to live inside systems that didn’t quite fit and often caused harm.

My work is an act of reclaiming how my brain works: nonlinear, associative, sometimes “too much.” It is ultimately a practice of trusting my own way of making meaning and reclaiming the creativity and play that were interrupted and shamed too young. Whether I am posting on social media, writing or running groups, my ultimate hope is that people feel more permission to be themselves.

I live in coastal Massachusetts, so nature always finds its way into the work.
I’m a dog mom of three, so there’s always fur in my food.

Lastly, I identify as 30% New Balance sneaker wearing dad, 40% Mary Oliver and the last 30% is still to be determined.
